Suspect VANISHES After Beating Elderly Man—Mayor Targets VICTIMS…

A 77-year-old Seattle man suffered a broken arm, shattered knee, and deep facial lacerations after being attacked at a bus stop—while the mayor pushes to eliminate the security cameras that captured his attackers.

Brutal Attack Leaves Senior Hospitalized for Weeks

The elderly victim was simply walking home from his bus stop when Ahmed Abdullah Osman and a second suspect attacked him without provocation. The assault left him with severe injuries requiring treatment at Harborview Medical Center, where he remained hospitalized more than two weeks later. Osman now faces second-degree assault charges, though surveillance footage provided the only evidence to identify the attackers in what police describe as a random attack.

Mayor’s Camera Ban Conflicts With Public Safety

Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson has advocated for shutting down the very CCTV system that captured the assault. Her stated reason centers on concerns that surveillance cameras put refugees at risk, creating a direct conflict between her policy priorities and law enforcement capabilities. Without these cameras, investigators would have had no leads in identifying the suspects who brutally attacked an innocent senior citizen. The case highlights mounting tensions between progressive criminal justice reforms and community safety concerns.

Suspect Released and Disappears Before Bail Hearing

Adding another troubling layer to the incident, authorities released Osman from custody the same night police arrested him. This release occurred before his scheduled bail hearing, and Osman has since disappeared. His current whereabouts remain unknown, leaving the victim and community without resolution while a violent offender walks free. The pre-hearing release follows policies implemented under Seattle’s reformed approach to detention and bail, which critics argue prioritize offender rights over victim protection and public safety.

Growing Concerns Over Criminal Justice Reforms

This incident encapsulates broader debates over criminal justice policies in major American cities. Opponents of recent reforms point to cases like this as evidence that lenient detention policies and reduced surveillance create dangerous conditions for law-abiding citizens. The 77-year-old victim spent weeks recovering from injuries inflicted during a random attack, while his alleged attacker vanished after immediate release. Meanwhile, the tools that solved this crime face elimination under proposed policy changes that prioritize other considerations over traditional law enforcement capabilities and community protection measures.

  1. Mayor Katie is an IDIOT who ,she, should be arrested since the police let him go, who is now no where to be found, while the elderly man is still in the hospital.

  2. proof the democrats endorse crime flood senators trump to remove all federal money programs to that state city

  3. AS LONG AS UNINFORMED FOOLS VOTE FOR THESE AMERICA HATING TRAITORS, THERE WILL NEVER BE JUSTICE FOR WORKING CITIZENS. TO LET THIS ANIMAL OUT AFTER BEATING A OLD MAN IS OUTRAGES. THESE THUGS FEEL SO STRONG BEATING ON A OLD SENIOR. SHAME ON THIS KATIE WILSON.SHE LACKS BRAINS , PLUS WHO VOTES FOR MORONS LIKE THIS???? WE THE CITIZENS NEED TO VOTE FOR PEOPLE WHO STAND 100% FOR OUR COUNTRY AND OUR LAWS, NOT FOR ILLEGALS OR FOREIGNERS WHO DO NOT BELONG IN TO OUR HOMELAND.

  4. Oh so well done, Seattle voters. You wanted and voted into office a stupid, inexperienced, radical female, commie, criminal protecting, queer-loving, anti-American, anti-Christian, pond scum mayor. AND you got exactly what you voted for. Now sit back, shut your mouth, stop whinning, and enjoy your thoughtful vote.

  5. Carrying a concealed weapon for protection has become the norm in our cities. This is why. This old man will suffer the results of this beating until he passes. Why should an innocent person have to suffer for years because someone else has a bad day or should not be on the streets anyway. I would like to see this mayor experience the same punishments she has forced on the citizens of Seattle.

  6. I am sorry I went to the Seattle Police Academy. As a former police officer from Washington state. I would refuse to work for a city that allows that type of things. Being from Washington state I am sorry to say I was born there also. My entire family are Democrats except me. I do not identify with either party, I have always voted for who I thought wa the better personn for the job no matter what party they belonged to, but now I would not consider voting for a Democrat, I now there are some good people there but they are allowing the ones in power to control the party so I will never vote for them.
